Introducing OHB Czechspace
Situated in Brno, Czech Republic, we have been a member of the European Space and Technology Group OHB SE since 2018, one of the leading forces in Europe's space sector.
With a customer base of space agencies and companies from the space industry, our focus is to supply spacecraft and launcher structures as well as its mechanical ground support equipment according to the customer’s specifications. We perform the development, design, verification, procurement, test conduction, and belonging product assurance tasks.
We have been awarded various contracts within European Space Agency (ESA) programmes. Among these are the planetary defence mission Hera, the PLATO space exploration mission, as well as the project Comet Interceptor, study of the nuclear electric propulsion usage for space missions RocketRoll or the measurement of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere CO2M. In 2022, OHB Czechspace was awarded a contract by ESA for the Czech satellite mission SOVA to conduct the first phase of the Ambitious Project. - In December 2022 we successfully passed the internationally accepted ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification.
- The certification audit was carried out by DEKRA.
