Since 2018 OHB Czechspace, located in Brno, Czech Republic, has been a member of the Space and Technology group OHB SE, one of the space industry leaders in Europe. OHB Czechspace is a part of Space Systems business segment.

Our enthusiastic, diverse and growing OHB team is looking for a Manager “Sales Operations and Strategy Support“. This position supports the OHB Group Sales and Business Development as part of the Sales Operations department and will be based in Brno, Czech Republic.

Key responsibilities:

1. Sales Operations:

- Assist in the management of daily sales operations, ensuring effective processes, tools, and systems are in place to support the sales team in selling complex aerospace products and services.
- Engage with business development teams to monitor and support order intake, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Support the establishment of KPIs and performance tracking systems to measure the effectiveness of sales initiatives and operational processes.
- Identify areas for operational improvement within the sales process for aerospace solutions and recommend best practices to increase efficiency.
- Facilitate collaboration among business development teams in the subsidiaries of the group, both for business with external accounts as well as for intracompany activities

2. Strategy Support:

- Contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies tailored to the aerospace market, enhancing revenue growth and positioning within the space industry.
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics specific to the aerospace sector to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare reports and presentations for leadership.
- Work closely with engineering, product development, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on strategies and initiatives specific to space technologies and services.
- Support strategic analysis projects focused on business development while collaborating with various group functions to drive overall organizational effectiveness.
- Conduct market analysis to understand the competitive landscape and customer needs in the aerospace sector, informing strategic decisions and sales tactics.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations, strategy development, or a related role, preferably within the aerospace or space industry.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making, particularly in technical sales environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in CRM software and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau); knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Background in management consulting is a plus.
- Eligible to work in the Czech Republic
- Start date ASAP or upon agreement.
