Job description:

Developing requirements and conduct requirement validation of optical payloads based on analysis and testing

Provide optical engineering expertise to support manufacturing tasks and issues
-
Working across multiple engineering disciplines
-
Development and design of satellite systems and subsystems
-
Support with the proposal’s preparation and evaluation
-
Participation in technical reviews with our international partners such as the European Space Agency
-
Active participation in the procurement, assembly, and test processes
-
Build effective relationships across organizations, disciplines (electrical, mechanical, thermal, software) and with customers
-
Presentation of work results internally and to the customer
-
Actively participate in the expansion of the company's know-how (knowledge sharing, mentoring, training)
We require:
-
Master’s Degree in aerospace, mechanical, optical engineering or comparable education
-
Ideally 3-5 years of experience in aerospace, electronics, or similar business
-
Experience in system engineering and payload systems design (optical design / system engineering knowledge is a plus)
-
Considerable communication skills, high degree of flexibility and resilience
-
Willingness to learn and take over additional responsibility and to execute trainings
-
Entrepreneurial way of thinking with focus on quality and cost awareness
-
Fluency in spoken and written English is a must, German is a plus
